Community Partners
At Papagayo, we encourage community service in our students by having them join us visiting local schools to talk to those students about college, engaging in an activity with the students there, and talking to them about books. These schools include Young Women’s STEAM Academy, Father Yermo High School, Jefferson High School, and Trinity-First School.

In addition, by hosting various organizations and student clubs for workshops at our campus, Papagayo is proud to partner with them so students can take advantage of the resources and services they offer. Keeping their presentation materials and staying connected online, we cultivate relationships with them; it’s not uncommon for them to present for us again in the future. These organizations include:
Center Against Sexual and Family Violence - The EmpOURment Project
El Paso del Norte Mural Project
Immigrant Legal Resource Center - Red Cards
Las Americas Immigrant Advocacy Center
National Alliance on Mental Illness - El Paso
The Barbed Wire Open Mic Series
